Halifax Document upload services offers you an easy and secure way of providing all the necessary documentation to support your client’s new mortgage application, product transfer or further advance application. This means you no longer need to submit documents by fax.

How to get registered to use the document upload service

You will automatically be registered to use our service. If you have not received your log on details please complete our registration form.

As part of the document upload registration process you will receive a welcome email and a temporary password email.

If you are experiencing difficulty in receiving either of these emails you may wish to consider adding our sender address to your ‘safe sender’ recipient list within Outlook.

You can do this in 5 easy steps:

  1. Within Outlook, select Junk E‐mail from the main ‘Home’ tool bar (or select Tools, Options, Preferences, Junk E-mail)

  2. Click the Safe Senders or Safe Recipients tab

  3. Click Add

  4. Enter the following email address: publications_comments@intralinks.com

  5. Click OK

How to upload a document

  1. Open your browser and navigate to https://services.intralinks.com and enter your email and password to login.

  2. Double click on the Halifax Intermediaries exchange, or Halifax Premier exchange for a new loan of £500,000 or more, navigate to the ‘Tasks’ tab, select ‘By Process name’, click the ‘actions drop down’, then select ‘new to do or submission’. A screen will appear entitled ‘Select Business Process’ select the option which relates to the application type you have keyed.

  3. Select the appropriate business process, there will be two options available; New applications or Product transfers and Further advance then select ‘Continue’. You will then be taken to the ‘Instructions for Document submission’ page which will provide instructions on how to upload your documents.

  4. Upload your documents on the ‘Attach Document’ screen and specify a ‘Process instance name’. You need to ensure that the Mortgage Application number is entered in full, followed by Surname and First name of the Primary Applicant.

  5. Specify the document type and select save to submit the documents.

    You can check the status of the documents uploaded by logging in and selecting the ‘Process’ view within the ‘Tasks’ tab.
